Imagine that each astrological sign has a 'guardian'  who is imbued with that sign's particular qualities.
But after millenia of just watching from the stars, these celestial chaps decide it's time to descend and pursue some of the earthly pleasures that their sign likes best...

I wanted to do a portrait based on the classical Aquarius image of bearing or pouring water. So here he is, pouring water, over a sugar cube into a glass of Absinthe. A perfect pastime for a dreamy, inspired intellectual who wants to share with you an alternative vision of the world...
