The weekend we spent here was like the mood of this picture - intense and more than a little unsettling.

The trip started very sadly as the coach driver had a heart attack at the wheel, and died later that day.
When we finally got to the island, we were to stay in a converted church - a very pretty place, but (as we discovered firsthand)  also unbelievably haunted. The enduring lesson of the weekend was: in times of paranormal weirdness, 30 art students and their sleeping bags can all fit in one bedroom.
